Jack Herer

Jack Herer, sometimes misspelled as Jack Herrer, is an award winning, predominantly Sativa strain bred by Sensi Seeds. The strain delivers a fast-acting, soaring high that lifts moods. It can leave users feeling happy, energized, and creative. It is said to increase focus in adults with ADD/ADHD. Negative effects include paranoia, anxiety, and dizziness. Typical dry eyes and mouth are also common. The sativa-based high of this strain is recognized as an appropriate treatment for stress, anxiety, and mood disorders. Although the Indica side can relax muscles and ease the mild aches associated with Fibromyalgia, it is generally not prescribed for serious aches and pains. It is, however, chosen by some patients suffering from nausea, bulimia, and anorexia to stimulate appetite and settle upset stomachs. Jack Herer’s lineage is comprised of mostly Haze with some Northern Lights and a little Skunk #1. It is named after a legendary author and activist. The strain dates back to the late 1980s/early 1990s. It has been refined and won two High Times Cannabis Cups and twelve High Life Cups. Subsequently, other breeders have selectively bred or tried to imitate this strain, and many have released their versions of it under the same name. The strain grows quite well outdoors and is usually ready for harvest in the middle of September. Jack Herer flowers on average around 62 days and will yield up to 400 grams per 1000 watts.
